MAKEUP PORTFOLIO

014

BRIDAL MAKEUP 014. PORTLAND, OREGON.

This brides makeup was inspired by her personal style and the beautiful floral crown that she wore on her wedding day. I kept this look really natural and luminous as to not take away from her already beautiful complexion. I used soft honey tones on her cheeks, rose tones on the eyes, and a nice coral on her lips to tie in some of the brighter florals present in her flower crown.

EDITORIAL MAKEUP 013. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

Golden Beauty. For this shoot, I wanted to play around with golden hues and try something a little arbitrary; accenting the golds with a bold red lip.

EDITORIAL MAKEUP 012. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

A shoot centered around health and fitness. This personal trainer exudes strength and confidence and wanted her makeup to represent her well. I kept her gorgeous eyes strong with various shades of gray, cheeks and lips in a nice nude and I finished her whole face with a healthy glow using a skin toned highlighter.

BRIDAL MAKEUP 011. Memphis, Tennessee.

For this bride, I kept the makeup very clean and simple.  The client already has striking eyes and brows and I did not want to take away from her already gorgeous features. All I used was thin, dark brown eyeliner, nude shadows and a subtle pink blush and lipstick.

PORTRAIT MAKEUP 010. DALLAS, TEXAS.

This client allowed me to have full creative direction for her senior photos. I wanted to pay homage to her high-school era that was coming to a close, and conceptualize her progression into womanhood.

PORTRAIT MAKEUP 006. DESTIN, FLORIDA.

This mother and daughter duo wanted family photos while on vacation. Both makeup looks were inspired by their personal styles. The mother always looking timeless and the daughter having a slight bohemian flair mixed with her classy taste.

PORTRAIT MAKEUP 005. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

I wanted to enhance the personality of the client; endearing, fun, free. The makeup is a fusion of these. For cheeks, I used a spiced berry tone, for eyes I used pearly lilacs and smokey browns, and for lips, I applied a brighter berry tone.

PORTRAIT MAKEUP 004. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

For this look, I wanted the clients gorgeous almond shaped eyes to stand alone. I used variations of rich brown shadows to shade and line the eyes. I also wanted the cheeks to have that slightly flushed appearance to add realism.

CONCEPT PORTRAIT MAKEUP 003. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

I collaborated with the client for this conceptual shoot which shares respect to the sixties. I wanted the eyes wide and bright, yet sultry and soft. I pulled images of the iconic Twiggy and added my own twist.

BRIDAL MAKEUP 002. LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

Inspired by the bride's timeless dress, I wanted her makeup to also  last throught the ages. I combined the bride's request  for a soft smokeu eye with peachy-pink floral tones for cheeks and lips.
